Joel Edwards is from El Paso, Texas and a college teamate of my brother, golf professional at Black Diamond Ranch Doug Egly. Joel spent summers in the midwest and many junior golfers here will remember Joel spending time with our Des Moines Junior Golf program from the time he lived here with our family. Joel has gone on to win on the PGA Tour and continues to play great on the Champions Tour, including a great finish in this year's Principal Charity Classic.
