A State Championship for Creston Boys Golf today!

Congratulations to many today on a State Championship in golf.
A few years ago my cousin Coach Jan Lesan brought a large group of young men and woman regularly up from my mothers home town of Creston, Iowa to the range to work. Jan along with coaches Calkin, Ryan McKim and Kritter Hayes now have taken this team, that hadn't been to State in a very, very long time, and have led them to a State Championship for their school, their first!!!!
Congrats as well to each member of the team, Carson Whittington (The Individual State Champion for 2013 from Creston) Hunter Sickels, Trey Thompson, Sam Hartsock, Christian Groumoutis, and Kainen Somers on your great victory today!!!
Also congrats to sophomore Dane Waldron from Clear Lake for his 2nd place finish as an individual only one shot back of Carson.
I'm very proud and impressed by each and everyone of you!
